Celebrating two years of A Noble Grace!

Happy two year anniversary to A Noble Grace!

I can’t believe that I published this Beauty and the Beast retelling exactly two years ago today, and I’m looking back with such gratitude.

This book marked so many firsts for me. First fairy tale retelling, first multi-author series, first romance, first dual-POV book, first book written under contract with a fixed timeline…the list goes on and on. I almost threw in the towel more times than I can count, and the process was riddled with mix-ups and delays. The release date got pushed back, and I didn’t even write the entire last chapter until the day before the book released, something I’m definitely not proud of.

It’s only because of the unceasing prayers and support of so many people that A Noble Grace exists, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

The family that let me hang out in their spare room and write during a family event because I was so behind but still wanted to be able to hear them laughing.

The author who sat with me and offered advice and prayed with me at a writing conference when I confessed how in over my head I felt.

The beta readers who read such messy drafts of this story on short notice and offered feedback that absolutely saved the story.

The husband who didn’t bat an eye at the house slowly falling apart while I focused on writing alone, and provided me extra hugs and coffee when I pulled all-nighters or cried about how I didn’t think I could do it.

I know that there are things I could have done better with this book, but it has been such an incredible opportunity for growth, and I’ve learned so much over the last two years through it. And I’ve gotten to meet the coolest readers as people have discovered it!

Somehow we’re nearing one-hundred ratings/reviews on Goodreads? And I’ve sold almost 300 copies of the book? I’m thrilled that this story has found its readers, and that so many people have given my writing a chance. I hope to keep improving with every story I write.

Audiobook sale alert!

Another really cool thing that happens to fall on this anniversary is that the A Noble Grace audiobook is on sale pretty much everywhere! The Chirp sale is the best right now ($3.99!), but it’s also discounted on Amazon’s Audible and One Audiobooks, as well as being available for free through Hoopla (if your local library doesn’t have it yet, you can request it)!

This audiobook remains one of the only times I’ve been able to read my books and forget that I wrote it! I couldn’t stop smiling listening to it the first time, being able to hear these characters come to life (voiced by a different narrator for each POV character!), and chuckle at their dialogue. If you’re a fan of audiobooks, the team at One Audiobooks did an incredible job, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

And of course, as always, it remains available on Amazon as an ebook, paperback, and in Kindle Unlimited/Kindle+.

Thanks so much for all of the support on this little story! It means more than I can say, and I look forward to many more years!
