Happy Friday!
I’m popping in today with a super short but fun tag that I found on KristenKravesBooks (again!).Her list of blog tags never fails to yield some great finds, and I thought this would be a cute activity before the holidays.
I’d love for you to join me, so please feel free to leave your answers in the comments (and/or participate on your own blog)!
Rules
- Tag & link the person who tagged you (I wasn’t tagged…I just stole it from Kristen, haha)
- Tag and link me/this post (I would love to read your answers!)
- Tick/cross off the ones you’ve done
- Tag another 10 people (or however many you’d like)
The List
- Received an ARC and not reviewed it (not yet! I only apply for ARCs that I’m excited about.)
- Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley (I don’t use Netgalley…)
Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did)(or just wrote a short review and promised a full one that never came…yes.)Folded down the page of a book(once or twice…)Accidentally spilled on a book(more than once or twice…it just happens when my prime chance to read is during meals, unfortunately)- DNF a book this year (I almost never DNF books, but if I’m hating it, I’ll skim-read the rest.)
- Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it (Bought books purely because they were pretty, yes. No intention of reading it though? No. I intend to read them all eventually.)
Read while you were meant to be doing something else (like homework)(oh my, yes. Like this morning.)Skim read a book(Not whole fiction books. Parts of them sometimes though. Like long description paragraphs if they’re not captivating enough, haha.)Completely missed your Goodreads goal(this year, yes! Majorly!)- Borrowed a book and not returned it (this is a fear of mine, but it hasn’t happened yet thankfully.)
Broke a book buying ban(Bans are just guidelines, right?)Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about(yes! If I’m going to write a review, I need to do it very soon after reading the book or else I forget everything. It’s a problem.)Wrote in a book you were reading(only non-fiction, but I guess I’ll count it.)- Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads (not since starting to use Goodreads, no.)
- Borrowed a book and not returned it to a friend (repeat question? Probably because it would be so awful, haha!)
- Dodged someone asking if they can borrow a book (on the contrary! I love lending out books. It helps that most of mine have come from a used bookstore/thrift store, so I don’t mind if they have more wrinkles added.)
- Broke the spine of someone else’s book (thankfully not!)
- Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged (I have this thing where I never take the jacket off of a book, because I’m too scared to lose it, so no. I just damage them while they’re on the book, haha.)
Sat on a book accidentally(I can’t think of a specific instance, but I’m positive that I have.)
Score: 10/20
(so I guess I’m half-naughty, half-nice?)
I Tag
All of you! I don’t like tagging people repeatedly when I do so many blog tag posts, so I am just going to leave this open for anyone and everyone who wants to share their answers.
So whether that means participating on your own blog, or just sharing your list down in the comments, I’d love to find out if you’re naughty or nice when it comes to books. Consider yourself tagged!
